The problem
Water utilities and municipalities run critical infrastructure across sites that are expensive and slow to physically inspect. A failed sensor or a missed threshold can mean a burst main or a contamination event.
Ayyeka needed a platform that made remote monitoring trustworthy enough that engineers would stop driving out to check.
What I did
I built and maintained the full stack: a React Native mobile app with Bluetooth Low Energy device pairing for field technicians, an Angular web dashboard with real-time visualization, and Node.js services processing thousands of sensor readings per minute.
I also led the migration from the legacy Angular front-end to a modern React architecture, and designed custom analytics views for enterprise water and infrastructure clients.
What happened
On-site maintenance visits dropped by 60%, because engineers trusted the remote data enough to stop driving out to check. The platform holds 99.9% uptime across global deployments and serves more than 100,000 API requests a day.
