Overview

Established in 2018 and headquartered in Dubai, Invygo is the first car subscription start-up in the MENA region. I first joined the project in the idea phase and took the challenge to build the first viable product in just 1 month.

Role

As a freelance technical architect, I worked on the project from idea to the first visible product with one in-house developer in just 1 month, and we got the first customer in just 1 week after. I worked for Invygo for 2 years.

My primary responsibilities were managing the mobile application, enhancing the backend architecture, and contributing the technical solution to scale our system. I also support building the backbone for data analytics and marketing automation system based on adjust, mixpanel, customer.io, and in-house data in MongoDB.

Besides that, I also contributed product ideas to improve business growth.

  • From idea to minimum viable product in just 1 month (with online payment gateway as well).
  • Raised more than $2M in funding and going to get the Series A.
  • Top 15 travel apps in UAE.
  • Has more than 50k users.
  • Expanded to Saudi Arabia and going to expand more.
